As a partner in the firm, Sheila routinely represents and counsels clients on a broad range of legal and business matters including start-up, debt and equity financing, stock issuances, Board matters, business strategy, employment matters, intellectual property, succession planning, and sales of businesses. Her transactional experience includes companies of all sizes, from growth companies to well-known public companies, partnerships, limited liability companies, and joint ventures throughout California, the United States, and foreign jurisdictions. Sheila has been awarded the Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent® rating and delights in working clients from start-up through receipt of venture financing or sale, and regularly assists principals with their next ventures, as well.
Sheila has lectured at Santa Clara University Law School on Business Acquisitions and at Foothill and De Anza Colleges on business law matters. She has served on the Board of Directors of the Santa Clara University Law School Alumni Association and various Silicon Valley companies. Sheila presently serves on the Board of Directors of Stanford Jazz, renowned for its Jazz curriculum, faculty, and resident artists.
